I am planning to move from northern VA area to Charlotte or Raleigh. i am looking for good school area for elementary kids and also nepali society around . can someone send me pros /cons if you have moved from northern VA

I live in fairfax VA. I was in Charlotte twice. I don't like
Charlotte compared to Fairfax. Specifically if you have a family. Fairfax has the lots of places for every ages Specifically for the kids. The Charlotte downtown was almost empty on weekend, ended up at paid the modern art museum ( not satisfied). It's your call!

Charlotte is not that bad. There are two major bank headquarters at Charlotte. Most Nepaleze live at Concord, Huntersville or Harrisburg. Kale populatlon is around 50% at charlotte. If you don't like kalez, Charlotte might not be a good option for you. I know some Nepalese folks don't like kalez. If you are looking for good skools for your kids, I heard Morrisville skools at Raleigh are top in the entire nation. Also, there is a good community around Cary,Morrisville and Apex.Good luck with your move.
