The starter of the thread spoke my mind.... i was gonna say that myself.......I have Zee TV at home since some years...I also watched the challenge 2005 and since then I agree that Sa re ga ma pa is 100 times better than Indian Idol. The finalists of 2005 Vinit Debojit and Hema were gr8 singers... Talking abt II 3, only 2 singers in the finals Amit and Emon deserve to be real playback singers, prashant and Chang have got good voice but they are so so.... all the sa re ga ma finalists are as good as one another...u cannot tell which one of these is the best...they all deserve to be #1. 1. Amanat 2. Aneak 3. Musarrat 4. Poonam 5. Raja even Junaid and Sumedha are better than II3 finalists... so cheer for sa re ga ma pa... Like someone said, i watch I.I. only to watch prashant sing..

I totally agree in this. The contestents in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa are far better singer, far better performer than Indian Idol 3. Even the whole quality of the show is better. I am pretty sure the Contestent in the Sa Re Ga Ma are getting more chances to sing in bollywood, most of them have already recorded for the movies. I also watch Star Voice of India, even this is far better than Indian Idol 3.

I do agree that saregamapa is far more better than indian idol 3. Indian idol is nothing but overly hyped. If you like to listen good singing and want to know who is trying to hook up with whom within participants then you should watch saregamapa. According to saregama judges love triangle is going on among aneek, amath, and a lady from bappi lahari's gharana. I think the lady is sumedha. Lets see who will get sumedha !
