Reasons why you and your friends and family need to go to the peace rally in basantapur 9am Friday May 7th

1. You have a right to express yourself. You have a right to express your concern over Nepal bands
2.
You have to protect the democracy from falling into the hands of the
maoist who will do anything to exert their political views and agendas
at the cost of your freedom
3. You have to act now before it's too late
4. It gives you an idea how many people are concerned like you.

and the most important reason

5. Government is not doing anything against criminal activities of the
protestors so you have to come out to show the criminal protestors that
you are not going to sit quietly if this continues and that there are many people like you who do not support them.

This
rally is about your Freedom to live your life normally without
political parties forcing 'bandhs' onto your face, demanding your
money, extorting you and above all acting in undemocratic ways by
hiring goons to further their cause.

Imagine a government which uses hired thugs to make you do what they want instead of strenghtening the law.

Every concerned citizen and their family should go to this rally.

It's high time that local measures are taken to thwart extortion and threats.

Every locality should have a meeting to set up some kind of alarm as soon as any extortion activities is sighted or is deemed imminent. The alarm would be the signal for local people to come to the street and show their solidarity against these anti democratic actions that undermine our freedom and the future of our country.

The alarm could be banging on pots and pans like using drums to drive animals away in the jungle. It would send twofold message 1. for locals to come out and show solidarity and 2. to send the extortionists the message that they are not welcome.
