आठ वर्ष यता पढाइको सिलसिलामा अमेरिका पढ्न आएका दर्जन नेपाली तन्नेरीहरुसँग दशैंताका भेट भएको थियो । उनीहरु सवैले पढाइ सिध्याए अमेरिकामा हैसियत अनुसारका काम गरिरहेका छन् तर कोही पनि नेपाल फर्कनका लागि तयार छैनन् । नेपालमा सिस्टम छैन, नेपालमा भ्रष्टाचार मात्र छ, आफूसँगै पढेका साथीहरु कता पुगे कता, सम्पर्कको साजाल कमजोर भयो, आफूले पढेको डिग्रीको सदुपयोग हुदैन देखि लिएर अमेरिकाको वातावरणसँग भावनात्मक सम्बन्ध बसिसक्यो भन्ने सम्मका कारणहरु उनीहरुले दिए । तपाईंहरुलाई के लाग्छ के यी नैं हुन अमेरिकामा बस्ने नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरुको नेपाल फर्किने अनिच्छाका कारण ?

All those reasonings are in fact true.  Now would those reasons hold back anyone who is really determined to go back to Nepal?  No.  Definitely not.  But still, fact remains that all those statements are valid.  Let's not judge.

$, car, luxury,  safety n security, no shortage of anything,(basic goods) respect to human being,  job, hot water, beer, hot chicks, whites, Latins, Desi, , cheap chicken, ego, self respect,  self-esteem n, being able to live without any fear of kidnapping, force donation form Maoist/terrorist r just a few to name there r 100s of more reasons .

It is just "money". Wide roads and cars come to close second. Increasingly expensive house in Kathmandu is probably third for those who don't have house in KTM.

यो साझाको कुराकानी धागोमा प्रतिकि्रया दिनुहुनु पिरेरितेन र इजी गोइंगजीलाई धन्यवाद तपाईंहरुको कुरामा म पनि सहमत छु । विश्व एउटा साझा घर हो जहाँ बसेपनि भइहाल्छ नी भन्ने सोच राखेर अमेरिका र अन्य मुलुक बस्ने नेपालीहरु पनि होलान् । नेपालमा असुरक्षा छ भनेजस्तो छैन धारामा पानी आउँदैन प्रदुषणको समस्या छ नेताहरुको बुद्धिले घाँस खाएको छ भन्दैमा हामी युवा वर्गले आफ्नो दायित्व भुल्ने कुरा हुँदैन । देशका लागि केही गर्ने सोच भएदेखी विदेसमा बसेर पनि धेरै काम गर्न भने नसकिने होइन । हामीसँग पूँजी र आइडिया छ भने व्यापार व्यवसायको साजाल विस्तार गर्न सक्छौं भलै अहिले असुरक्षाले गर्दा लगानी जोखिममा पर्न सक्छ । देश अहिले संक्रमणकालिन अवश्थामा भएका बेला ठूल्ठूलो डलरको खोला बगाइदिने गफदिने गफाडिहरु भन्दा एउटा दुर दराजको विपन्न परिवारको नेपाली बालकको भविष्य बनाउनका लागि उसलाई पढ्ने खर्च जुटाइदिनेसम्मको मुटु भएको नेपाली मन चाहिएको छ । हामी धेरै गर्न सक्छौं । गर्नेहरुले गरेर देखाएका छन् । <br>

It is just because of money. Their family ranks a high class in Nepal if they live in america and may be the second reason is What will they do? if they move to Nepal .., Their place is already Replaced by other Nepales in Nepal and they cant compete with Nepalese............

How about we students just spent 50000-100000 just for undergrad and worked our butts off to pay the fees. How soon can we get the money back in Nepal? Everybody loves their country.  

I've heard rumors that the Nepali Govt will enact a provision for dual citizenship. That might make it easier for folks who want to repatriate in flesh when they slowly realize that there's more to life than the 9 to 5 in the US.
