I find it sad that people play Hindi songs in Nepali functions abroad. I dont mean to degrade Hindi songs, they are nice, but would urge people to play Nepali songs in functions. If they HAVE to play other songs for dance or other purpose, they can use Nepali and other songs in the language of the given country, probably English in USA, Australia, UK and Canada's case.

I was at a Nepali Dashain program in Manchester (UK) sometime back and was absolutely shocked when Hindi songs were played. All credit to the fine dancers who performed on the stage with grace, but the organizers could have used English music if they could not find a proper Nepali music for the given dance sequence.

Please list all the songs you want the DJs to play now so he can have variety of songs to play so all can be happy. I have gone to party where it is monotone....all one kinda of songs that is boring - it has to have different flavor....so everyone can dance.

I Kindda think the same way too, should be just nepali and english, but some new hindi songs from overseas are getting better with R&B and HipHop original ones only though.
Maybe the DJ could play some Nepali HipHop also termed NepHop.

I say only nepali would be enough in a 6 hr. party. I know we got 6 hrs of pure nepali dancing music be it, lok geet or hiphop. Go Nepali Style.
