I am planning to apply for the residency in Canada. I was wondering if there are any lawyers that are in the US who works regarding canada immigration. OR if there are any lawyers information that some of you have used in canda.
Even though they say that one doesnot need a lawyer and can do the process by themselves, I am not sure.

Its straight forward no need a lawyer and spent couple of Thousands dollars. Unless you are loaded.

no lawyer needed indeed. Just go into the above mentioned site and they have the little self test for you whether u r eligible to apply for PR or not. its pretty straight forwat=rd and response is mostly positive as well.

I agree with all of the above posting that you DO NOT need a lawyer at all, as long as you can read english and follow simple steps. I have several friends who got approved without hiring a lawyer and I have one friend who hired a lawyer which he regretted very much later on.

Anybody knows how to verify employment from U.S.? There are a certain points if you are working in U.S. forms. You need to submit certain documents showing U.S. forms employ you, but what kinds of documents you need to submit them?

I don't know if there are any specific forms to be submitted by the employer. In case you don't find any, ask your employer to write a "To Whom It May Concern" type of letter mentioning at least:

Date of your appoinment
Your position title
Your annual salary
Brief job responsibilities in 1-2 sentences.

how long does it take for the whole process if you're in US under the Federal skilled worker class?

i mean if you're applying under the federal Skilled Workers Class

i have no clue on canada immigration altho i heard the government is taking very qualified, educated people or id be easy if you had your relatives here.
