All the Nepalese can vote and pick the winner of the Indian Idol. How come we don't take initiative in building our own Country. Here all the nepalese stood up together saying " we are united" to choose a nepali guy. But what  about our country.???? it's going down and down everyday...Isn't it our responsibility to take care of our nation.....????

First-let's cheers for win of Nepalese heart in Indian Idol.He is our idol and idol of Neplaese community.

And as nepali keto123 has pointed out,we can learn from this sucess and unite to make better Nepal.If we Nepalese people as well as leaders unite for the betterment of our soil at least for few years,we can independently decide our fate and can avoid Indian influence in our Politics.

Staying abroad... staying hungry for dollars writing blogs and posting on forums does not make your country better... If you love nepal and if u think you can make a difference better pack you bags and catch the next flight to nepal... you can make a difference from the knowledge and experiences you have gained in foreign lands.

I totally agree with you imovedon.... but i am not here coz of dollar or anything. Before u flight back i guess you should be capable to do something, you should be capable financilly plus smart enough to tackle all the situation.I am trying my best to do in my way and it is my duty. If one Tread can make us to unite for PRASHANT this blog might work out to unite for peace in our country. Please dont take it negatily again.

Just packing your bags and going to Nepal isn't gon a change anything. One person cannot change anything.first all the Nepalse should get united. We have to change the whole political system in Nepal since there is uncontrollable situation. For this , if everybody get united and try to take help from organization, then I am sure that our nation will improve something.
The main thing we need fix is Education system in remote areas ... so that people know that what they are doing right now. I guess people who do not have education are more into destuctive filed.
Most of our leaders needs to go to school and open up their eyes  so that they know what kinda improvement they can do for Nepal.

In my opinion, all this is happening because people have nothing, absolutely, NOTHING to do. If everyone is busy there would be less chaos.

I think what we need to do is bring economic revolution. But how? Well, the dollars you sent home can be used very wisely. Number of people working in other countries can form some kind of industry small or big, and employee atleast some nepalis there, could be 1, 10, 100 or more...if everyone abroad stopped building non-sense big ass house and land, and rather invested in some form of productive industry in long-run eventually there would be happiness and peace.

Nepali keto123 your comment is agreed but only therotically and dont think once person cannot do anything... why don't we talk practically every one has a opinion on what we should do and what we should not but who is there to actually do it... someone needs to start it... if Mahatma Gandhi would have though as you and stayed in London history of India would not have been written the same way as we read it today and same goes with Nelson Mandela... Revolution is the Keyword... think about it!

Politicians always try to make the nation. But in our Country they are destroying it. What kinda politics is it? do they know the meaning of Politics? they need to take classes for that....

For xample Nepali can collect fund and make Prashant Tamang Indian Idol but how come we cannot make our own country. Yes we can do it.. if all the Nepalese give hand on h and. To do this one should start the movement.To do this movement all the Nepalese should get United .....

EDUCATION IS THE KEY FACTOR TO GET RIDS OF ALL THE CORUPT POLITICIANS... UNLESS PEOPLE ARE NOT EDUCATED,NOTHING WILL CHANGE. EDUCATION IS A TOOL WHICH WILL AWARE EVERYONE WHT IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE. WHT CAN THEY DO AND HOW TO ACT PROPERLY. SO I THINK WE SHOULD START FROM THEIR.

Let's get united.Every Nepalese staying abroad has wants to do something for nation as stated below,it is now time to commit our thought process in reality.

1) Let's pressure from abroad for National Unity: Promote Young Nepalese in Politics and let them lead.Let's not blame neither King nor Maoist,not even corrupt politician.Let's get united and build social pressure to boycott corrupt politicians and beaurocrats.Advocate for self esteem and national integrity.
2) Help to build school and let all Nepalese children have access to education.
3) Build pressure to all Nepalese concert organizer in USA to contribute at least some share of their profit for education in Nepal.
4) let's give up a weekend visit to club and contribute it for a good cause in Nepal.

and you folks can add and modify the points explained above.

We were united to support Prashant. We contributed some amount on voteing for prashant. In this case we knew what exactly we wanted—we wanted Prashant to win. We knew where our money is being spent.

Every Nepalese wants to contribute something for the development of our country. But here the development of the country is so vague and high level task that no one knows what to do, how to start and who to trust. As so many have said, we need to break down the tasks. We should start from something small, low level task--such as building a school in one rural area first. Let’s unite for one thing at a time. So that we will know we can do. And we will continue the same thing in another area.

This way if we can get done one thing, if we know the result of our contribution, we will be encouraged to contribute more for such cause.
