Is this the one you guys talking about? Indeed why "dasha" happens at the time of dashain? Last time lost our beloved brother Ashok and now Balaram May their soul rest in Peace in heaven! Balram Gautam, 23, Woodward, was driving northbound on the highway when he departed the roadway on the right, came back across the roadway, then left the roadway on the left. The 2004 Nissan hit an embankment, rolled three and a half times and came to rest on its top.
Gautam was pinned for over an hour and a half and was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries.
The second fatality occurred at 1 a.m. approximately three miles south of Manchester on Oklahoma 132 in Grant County.

While any death is a sad event (for family and friends), I don't feel sorry for a death due to drunk driving. How can a person smart enough to come to the US, excell in education, do well at job be stupid enough to drive while drunk? He's gone, but he left a lesson for other Nepalis who drink and drive. RIP, and hope you learned a lesson yourself not to drink and drive in your next life.

Tuppi ...Nobody is asking for your condolences or ur advise.....He was a saint compared to most of us on gods' green earth.....As for drinking and driving we all have skeletons in the closet and have done smth stupid.....and only one newspaper has mentioned that he was drinking impaired....so please keep asinine comments to urself and let everybody else mourn the death of a fren, son and a fellow countrymen...Am not going to reply back to any of your comments so I sincerely ask you not to ruin this for everybody by making this a sort of a lesson learned.....Death of a near dear ones are always painful so please dont desentitize it by mentioning that you are not sorry....How would you feel if you lost your loved one and somebody walks along and says that he/she is not sorry...Obviously you wouldnt care much for their opinion bt on the same token you would not want anybody saying anything irrelevant or stupid...So, please be wise when you choose your words during a delicate situation like this... R.I.P. will miss ya forever bud....

I spent Thankgiving Day 2006 at his apartment in OK. He was a very down to earth guy. He was the best friend of my previous roommate. I can't believe this has happened.
Rest in Peace Balram. May god give strength to all the family and friends during this difficult times.

Lord, I said it's sad event for friends and family. I didn't solicit your stupid comments; I was merely exercising my own thoughts. Don't you try to tell me what I can say or can not. Drunk drivers KILL thousands of innocent people every year. With drunk driving, it's either innocent people or the drunk driver or both.. Let it be the drunk driver alone. My best friend (who never drank) was KILLED by a drunk driver. And I'll never have a drop of sympathy towards those who drink and drive (even though they may be my own kins). Drunk drivers inflict pain on others. If they die alone, the pain is on their friends and family. If they kill an innocent life, the pain is on the rest of the world. Go figure.

tuppi why dont you straighten your facts first. only one news paper mentioned drinking and other papers did not. Also you dont know this guy so how can you say such insensitive things. i am goin to quote you "RIP, and hope you learned a lesson yourself not to drink and drive in your next life" is this what you have got to say? FYI he was a great guy and he has left void in many people's life. there are so many people who are affected by his death and ur comments only makes it worse for them. He will be remembered forever as a great freind, brother and son and i am sure Mr. tuppi when you die you will die alone with no people mourning. And i hope nobody says such insensitive things to you when you lose ur loved ones.

RIP Balaram. Tuppi, you sound like a jerk, a patmurkha. Everybody knows DUI is bad thing; you don't need lecture here. Nobody needs your dumb advice because the person who you spilled your poison about is no longer in this world. If you didn't have sympathy, you didn't need to drop by and vomit your venom. Only people who are mourning have to read your craps. Leave them alone. And the other thing is it is not clear whether he was under influence. Peace.
