A nepali girl has been missing since last sunday in estes park,colorado. she is a student at st.cloud state university and was working in estes for the summer. police is already involved with this situation.they have posted her picture all over the place. she was last seen at 10am last sunday, while on her way to work. her name is pratistha budathoki and no one has a clue where she is. her belongings were all left behind in her room including her passport. the nepalese community in estes park is seeking your help. if anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact Estes Park Police Department at 970-586-4000 or e-mail to hotzone272@hotmail.com. please help us find her.

The kind of life we Nepalese student live in the US certainly sucks. I also feel like run away from this hectic.
She is one of them who chose to walk away. It might have been too much for her. It definitely needs a great patience to maintain our student life. It's like a hell. Why everyone is coming as studnet from Nepal?? What we really get??
Some express it, some don't. Every Nepali student in the US at some point feels this way. It is just that Prathishtha took steps to react the despair most of us go through.

hahaha, what a funny story, but thanks to her, i know about sajha.com, good site, i have spent hours in this site after she disappeared. know when i look at her picture, she looks very familiar as i was in sajha looking at the thread every hour for updates. neplease praying all over the world have contributed for her safe return. thanks to you guys. almost 23,000 views, good job...........................all the drama is over, but the main thing, pratistha is safe.

ESTES PARK - Police have found the Nepalese student who had been missing for more than two weeks.

Police found Pratistha Budhathoki alive and well in Estes Park Monday afternoon near Mary's Lake Lodge.

On Monday afternoon Budhathoki went to a local woman's home and asked to use the phone. The woman recognized Budhathoki and notified police.

Police then found Budhathoki in a nearby field. They are keeping her on a mental health hold.

Budhathoki's parents arrived from Nepal today and are en route to the police department.

Official say that she was staying on Prospect Mountain, eating very little and drinking water from Mary's Lake.

The search for Budhathoki had been called off Sunday because Estes Park Police said they found no new evidence that could lead them to Budhathoki.

Budhathoki's Subway uniform was found near a gift store Thursday where she was last seen. Authorities intensified their search after finding the uniform and learning of cell phone usage and credit card purchases made after she had disappeared.

Budhathoki had come to Estes Park from St. Cloud University in Minnesota for summer work.

Estes Park Police Officer Russ Kufeld said, "We're just glad that she's safe and sound and back in safe hands now."

Finally she is found alive and in good health. So, there is a God and he did listen to us. Thank you God. I hope she gets over whatever problems she was having. Her parents have arrived here now. She should get some things out of her chest. Sharing your problem helps!!

oh, so the thing was she was sort of mentally unhappy!! hmm... now i dont think shell be happy that so many people know about it. But good to know shes safe and found.....

I've no sympathy at all on this mad gal, who made so many ppl have many sleepless nights. She shd be immediately deported to Nepal.

It just sucks for Nepali students. People back home think that it is easy to sruvive as students in the USA. They don't know under what circumstances they are working in places like Estes park nd Ocean city MD. Working like slaves, 2 jobs, and from the employers who knows your secret and often manupulate you. It just sucks to be students in the usa unless you have good scholorships.



Facts are little puzzle pieces, while truth is the full picture.

I have sympathy for you. When u call her a mad girl and don't have sympathy on her, actually what are you expecting from a mad girl??
She never ever asked f..king you care about her whereabouts. She didappeared of her own. She didn't ask for your sympathy. She expressed her dissatisfaction to what she was going through which is not your business. While you don't have to express your sympathy to her, but certainly you don't have any rights to express anything wrong for what she did.

Let us do a poll in sajha, who should be deported??

yes u r right elixir.....that brazzy bastard should be deported,not pratistha ......we dont even know in what state of mind she did that or what she is going through......the police too wont press any charges against her.......people commit so many crimes and get away with it.....and u think a person should be deported just because she disappeared on her own???.....huh!!!!........

So what now she's going to be deported back to nepal? may be it was some cheap trick to call your family to america, that way the visa's for sure i guess. Damn!!America fever is turning nepali people blind and i hope thats not the case.

That's what friends are for - known or unknown. I am proud to be a Nepali today because WE, collectively, worried and prayed for a fellow Nepalese's safety. What drove her to do what she did is a secondary matter. What we wished and prayed for came true. And that's what we should all be thankful for and be aware that our fellow Nepalese will do anything they can when one of us is hurting, so to speak.

So, let's rejoice the goodness in Nepali people as we often bad mouth our own.
