Dont know if this sort of discussion has been made in sajha, but i wanna start this thread to know what you guys think of this. Do, you believe this is the best choice for our national anthem?
Well, in the present circumstances, we cant expect any change, but i wanna know your opinion.

Is the current national anthem appropriate? If no, which song (or poem,...) do you think best reflects the Nepali spirits?

Who could be the composer of this song? When are they going to reveal the name?

by the way, there is a small grammatical error that needs to be corrected:
2nd line: it should be "भई" in stead of "भइ"

i think, JANGI NISHAN HAMRO, would have been a good replacement, or the current is fine.

I am not sure, but I think in the third line it should be "आँचल", not "आंचल", isn't it?

Chitre, you are right. Let's hope they will correct these errors in the final/official version.

The selected national anthem is good. It describes "present" Nepal.

I see a minor shortcoming about the future of Nepal. If we could include two lines that express our future dream of Nepal (we struggle to make brighter Nepal etc. before the last line), it would be more emotional. However, the word "अग्रगामी" gives some indication about the same.

By the way, are there any music composers in Sajha? If yes, why dont you guys prepare your version of National anthem tune?????

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, NEPAL ONE DAY WILL BE LIKE USSR. NOT PROGRESSING BUT DEGRADING. WHAT DIFFERENCE IT MAKES CHANGING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM? WHEN FORMER USSR SPLITED OUT, THEY CHANGED EVERYTHING AS IT WAS REQUIRED. I WAS IN NEPAL, AND WAS WATCHING TV. AN OLD LADY CAME OUT AND SAID WHY SHOULD SHE BE MORE CONSERNED ABOUT THE ANTHEM OR THE CHANGE OF CURRENCY PICTURE? SHE WANTS TO SEE THE COUNTRY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT FACE HARD TIME AFTER THE SPLIT. AND THESE PEOPLE WERE JUST FOCUSING THEIR AGENDA INTO THE STUPID THING, WHEN THE COUNTRY WILL EVER SEE ITS PROGRESS?

NEPAL WILL BE MORE LIKE WHAT THAT GRAND LADY SAID. WE WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND WATCH THE SITUATION AS CHANGING THESE THINGS WILL REALLY BRING BREAD AND BUTTER TO THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED!!!

i like the new anthem. interesting point to be noted is that it is written by and being composed by people form minority which is really good.

अलिकति फिका कहाँनेर लागो भने नि यी "सार्वभौम", "अखण्ड" र "अग्रगामी" जस्ता (राजनैतिक) शब्दहरु जे के तेइ प्रयोग गरेको ठाम के.

पहिलो हरफले घुमाउरो पाराले "एकतामा अनेकता र अनेकतामा एकता" भन्न खोजेको होला.
हो तेस्तो घुमाउरोपन ती माथिका ३ शब्दमा पनि भैदेखो भे झन मजाओ हुन्तो कि भन्छु. तर जे होस् मजाओ छ है.
