तराईको आन्दोलन सकियो?

उचालेको बाच्छाले मृग मार्दैन भन्ने उखान छ। भारतबाट गुण्डाहरु ल्याएर दुइ चार दिन सोझा साझा जनतालाई भड्काएर 'आन्दोलन' गरेको झैं गरेका थिए, तर पहाडियाहरुको घर जलाउने, पुलिसलाई काटेर फाल्ने आदि गरेपछि तराइबासीले यि भडुँवाहरुलाई तिरस्कार गरे। अब आन्दोलन शान्त हुदैँछ।

सरकारले पनि अब नेपाली काँग्रेस, एमाले, सद्भावना आदि मेनस्ट्रीम पार्टीका मधेशी नेता हरु राखेर मधेशको के गर्दा हित हुन्छ त्यो नीति ल्याउनु पर्छ।

मधेश जिन्दावाद, तर आतंककारीहरु र हिलोमा माछा मारेर संबिधान सभा गर्न नदिन खोज्ने हरु मुर्दाबाद।

of course the movement is by poor and marginalized people but its being used by rich and people with power or people for lust of power....we must differentiate between them....

Whatever is happening is totally justified. They need space now as the tolerant factor has been forced to eradicate.

Well, it does seem like the violent part of the 'movement' has come to an end. Which is a good news.

Now we should wrest the movement away from proviolence forces, and promote the legitimate mainstream Teraian politicians. Pahadiyas always have two options there: one is to divide and rule (i.e. it does't take long to make low caste Teraian rise against high caste, like they do in Bihar in the name of Ranabir Sena and others) or to unite Terai fully, integrate it with the rest of the Nepal and make it forever peaceful, prosperous and beautiful. I want to believe that our leaders will pursue the second option.
