bud i agree. my first post can give an impression of an insult, if you don't ponder and think rationally about it. :P

to me, a gf/wife can take a role of a mother. she can take care of you, pamper or make you feel like you're her baby when you're down or feeling low, no? that is what a woman is capable of doing to her man and that's why they are great! i shouldn't be saying this to you since you too have a gf. i thought you would understand. :P

i don't know what are you going to achieve by posing this question here in sajha. let's say a fair number of people here say: it doesn't look good to have a gf taller than a bf. then, will you leave her? can you? so what's the point? :D...don't feel insecure or ashamed. that's not a sign of a healthy relationship. at the risk of being judgmental, your coming here and asking this question itself implies that you're already insecure and unstable about this relationship. BE A MAN, it's not about physical height, it's about the mental rigidity (confidence) which seems to have been shaken and it shouldn't be! :P

men can be strong physically. but there is a little kid inside every man, no matter how old or strong he is. it's his gf/wife or mother who sees that part of men. if you think, crying (or expressing your sentiments--let's say the emotional part of you) in front of your gf will make her feel you're weak/inferior, then i have to say, you've yet to open up yourself to her. every close relationship is sensitive. just the matter of expressing yourself. if there is a connection between hearts, there's ought to be emotions, which is overwhelming at difficult times and that's when you tend to cry. only if head could work, i would buy your argument. i consider myself headstrong. but i have cried.
