i don't know about buying and selling, but in the computer world and if you have skill, u can do it. for example if you are an web programmer, here is the break down of my investment, $10 buy a domain, $50 buy a hosting service for one year
Total = $60 + applicable taxes
Start programming, if it becomes a hit, u have ur business.

there are lots of such example where a company started out with minimal budget and turned out to be a big hit
so yes, its possible to get a company started out with $500, but u need to have a brilliant idea behind it to make it a successful business
if somebody here at sajha starts a thread that he/she want to make a movie for $15000, u guys, I guess, will simply laugh at, am i right?

Thanks a lot to all you guys, its really appreciative to see so many collective positive ideas flowing.. mota business does indeed sound good but i am afraid that might spoil the surroundings. buying domain is a great idea which i already have couple. One main thing here is not only that i am trying to start something with my $500, its more like spreading the ideas within the community so others might even benefit by it. lets get more coming! cheers!!!

Hey bro......I am really glad that somebody asked for something very nice in sajha.........I like when somebody talks about starting frm scratch and have ambitions to do something big...........this makes us creative..........I say lets think of something really creative........if u have anything unknown guy....or any body else, lemme kno too...........I will b glad to get goin...............I am always looking for opportunity to make money, obviously being creative, not by selling motta....and all those shit!!!!!!..........keep on goin guys........

500 ma ! buying stuffs when they are cheap and selling back when price increases, on seasonal items ! would be a good business ,,tara 500 is too less find 10 more people like you who want to invest 500 so it will be a coroprate (so to say) and with 5000 you can to a lot more ,,on that buying and selling ..
