How do you define country of residence?
Your country of residence is where you have been normally resident for the last three years and where you consider to be 'home'. If you have been in another country for purposes of education or short-term employment this will not change your country of residence.

i agree with MimroRaMero. i ve been waiting for my application to approved.plus it also doesn't matter what status you hold. Have been holding "out of status" since 2012 but everything went well. I wish good luck to everyone who applied. its just a matter of time.

I have a small situation. My EAD said in production on Aug 11. Since then my TPS was approved on Aug 26 and and already received approval letter on Aug 29. But my EAD status hasn't changed. It still says in production since Aug 11. Anyone else has or had this situation? Any suggestions? Called USCIS helpline but all I got was might take upto 30 days as an answer.

I have another question on the TPS.

My F1 status ends in May 2016. If I apply for TPS, what will be my status after it expires in December 2016.

What should I do after that?

Suggest me should I apply or not?

my i - 94 says D/S

I used my I-20 OPT date.

It is not a big deal, use the latest date you are authorized to stay in US.

If you over stay then put overstay

So your TPS got approved and EAD is in card production status? OR your EAD also approved? Just would like to know as mine was in card production since August 11th and today they have updated the case but it is still in card production.

So has your EAD and TPS already approved? When did you apply? Mine says Fingerprint fee received on July 8, New card has been produced on August 11...after that there is no change in the status of Application.

Hello all, my TPS EAD status changed today from "Card was sent to Production on Aug 11" to "On Sep 2 we ordered your new card". Does anybody know the difference between these two statuses?

Also, looks like a few people had their TPS status approved on Sep 1. Could you please let us know when you guys applied and when did you have your biometric appointment? (Thanks Whateveritis for already responding).

Mine was New Card Is Being Produced at August 11, and now it is saying New Card Is Being Produced in September 2. Biometric was taken at 4th August.
Status is the same just the date is different.

My biometric was done on last week of july, New card being produced on Aug 11...after that no progress, still i see the same message, New Card os being produced, and finger print fee received.

when did you apply for tps ? I also had my fingerprint on aug 4. But mine still says new card is being produced .
Before also, it was saying new card is being produced from august 11 today the date was changed but the same status. weird !

I am going through the same exact situation, first new card being produced on August 11, now new card being produced September 2...i dont know whats going on
