I have long come to the conclusion that there can never be a meaningful discussion about politics on Sajha for long. Some threads start of well and then all hell breaks loose after a while. I guess there are too many people - on both sides of any issue - who are too emotionally charged and are simply incapable of approaching an issue objectively without shouting.

The most ironic thing I find is some of us who condemn the "Jungle Raj" back in Nepal seem to embody the very traits of the jungle right here on Sajha. I don't know about you, but I have stopped taking most discussions about politics on Sajha seriously because if you if you start taking most (again, not all) of this stuff seriously then you need to question your own knowledge and approach to politics.

Just a thought.

People get emotionally charged when there is no logic :what has a pic of kid got to do with monarchy? logic?you can connect every negative things with monarchy with revenge mentality.There are various other factors .
Shouting doesn't necessarily always means offensive!

also , name calling ..what has one got to do with panche , if someone sees faults in So called democratic leaders(who doesn't understand )as well.

Have not been out yet. But I totally felt like a TURD this Am to be the only person on T to be carrying an Unmbrella. I guess its gonna come in handy when I go home now. he he It just really really baffles me to see these spats here. I mean the arguments have benn going back and forth for a yr now. UNTILL WE CAN STOP BITCHING ABOUT YESLEY YESTO GARYOO WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD. WE WILL BE STUCK RIGHT HERE FOREVER THANKS TO THESE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KEEP US THERE INSTEAD OF MOVING US FORWARD.
We need to move forward not backwards. We have to let go of our past and look towrds the future. But people here would rather dwell in the past and let it eat them away to the point where it becomes contageous and starts spreading to the entire NAtion. THAT IS WHAT I AM SCARED OF.

१- माओबादिको जन्म के ६ बर्षको प्रजातन्त्रमा गर्भाधारण भएको हो? गरिबी, अशिक्षा, छुवाछुट्, सामन्ती थिचोमिचो, के ६ बर्ष को उपज हो? सदियौं देखि नेपाली जनतालाई रैती बनाएर, दास् बनाएर देश चलाएको उकुस्मुकुस बिस्फोटन भएको मान्नु हुन्छ कि हुदैन?
२- २३८ बर्षको कुरा नगरम्, पन्चायत को कुरा गरम्। तानशाहि रुपमा राजाले बुँख्यचा हरु अगाडि राखेर देश चलाएको ३० बर्ष मा भए गरेका बिकास र आर्थिक बृद्धी दर र बहुदल आए पछि तपाईहरुले भने जस्तै भ्रष्ट्र हरु ले शासन चलाउदा को भौतिक र आर्थिक बिकास को कुनै लेखा जोखा छ, तपाइ हरु सित्?। वास्तबिकताको धरातल् मा आएर् कुरा गरम्। जथाभावि गाली का श्ब्दहरुले यथार्थ मेटिदैन।

हो अपेक्षाकृत बिकास भएन, बिकृति धेरै जन्मे । मात्र नेता र कार्यकर्ता को खुराफाति दिमाग र संलग्नताले मात्र यती बिसंगती जन्मेको हो त? खबर्दार गर्ने हात हरु खै?

३- माओवादी को कारण १४ हजार निर्दोष को ज्यान गएको छ । दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण ईतिहास हो । कयौं घरबार बिहिन र अपाङ्गभएका छन्, लेखाजोखा छैन । तर अब आएर ती बन्दुके औंठा छाप हरु हिंसा त्यागेर मूल धार मा आएका छन । के फेरी तिनिहरुलाई फेरी जङल पठाउनु पर्‍यो र फेरी अर्को १४ हजार निर्दोष हरु को बली चढाउनु पर्‍यो? तिनी हरुको अपराध समय ले दिने छ, जनताको मत ले दिने छ ।
४- हलेरी मा नेपाली सेना ले माओवादीको पोलिट्ब्युरो मिटिङ घेरा हालेका थिए । तत्कालीन प्र म गिरिजा प्रसाद ले संबिधान ले दिएको अधिकार प्रयोग गरी हलेरिमा सेना को कार्यबाही गर्न आदेश दिंदा सेना ले किन मानेन र दरबार को आदेशमा सेना पछि किन हट्यो? १४ हजार् को ज्यान् सित यो प्रसंग जोड्ने कि न जोड्ने?
दरबार र माओवादी को के अघोषित गठबन्धन थियो । राजा बिरेन्द्र को हत्या भएको दोस्रो दिन मा कान्तिपुर मा माओवादी क दोस्रो कमाण्डर बाबु राम भट्टराई ले राजा बिरेन्द्र सङ्
हाम्रो कार्यगत एकता थियो भनेर लेख छापाएका थिए( हेर्नुस् कान्तिपुर्) ।
के यो, मात्र संयोग थियो?

Rahulvai ..i agree with you somewhat but now what?waste our energy blaming the past?Realizing past mistakes is good but inorder to take a nation ahead you cannot sideline any powers.Who knows there can be maoist like fourth force in country and then what? we go round and round in the same cycle?Look what's happening in nation, more energy is wasted BS stuff than in productive.
