आफूलाई भने त्यसबेला देखुन नै खूब राजनीतिमा सौख। घरबाट भने एस एल सि फस्ट डिभिजनमा पास गरेको छोरो, डाक्टरै बन्न पर्छ भुनेर अस्कल तिर ठेलेका। बाईलोजि कक्षामा लटरम्मै तरुणी देखेसि घरको कुरो ठीकै हो जस्तो लाग्यो।

तर घराँ थाहै नहुने गरि तिं नजिकैको सरस्वती क्याम्पसमा राजनैतिक शास्त्र पढ्न नि सुटुक्क भर्ना भा थिएँ।

अस्कल चईं धाईन्थ्यो त्यो बाटो पारिको रेलिङ् मा बसेर तरुणी जिस्क्याम्न, यसो बास्केटबल खेल्न र अलि अलि राजनीति गर्न। आई एस सि को सेन्ट अपले देखाईदियो नतिजा! साईन्स पढ्ने हिरो रे, बाईलोजि, केमेस्ट्री र फिजिक्समा ब्याक! म्याथ, अँग्रेजी र नेपाल परिचयमा चईं राम्रै गरें। नेपाल परिचयमा त शायद अलिक माथिकै अंकमा पर्थ्यो होला: ४२/५०!

अहिले त अखिलेको अड्डा जम्यो जस्तो छ त्यता। हाम्रो पालाँ त ने वि ले प्यानलै उडाका थियम्। म नि बने सदस्य। होमराज दाई चईं अध्यक्ष। ठ्याक्कै त्यै बेला सरस्वतीको रिजल्ट हुन अघि नै अमरिका आउने अवसर मिल्यो, अनि हुत्तिएँ यतातिर।

कुरो बुझ्दा मेगडालिना चईं हाम्रै दौंतरी जस्तो छ। सरहरुको नाम त किलास पड्न गए पो था हुन्थ्यो! एकजना क्याकुलसको सर हरि भक्त श्रेष्ठको चईं झल्झली याद आउँछ। क्याम्पस पड्ने अल्लाहरे उमेराँ वहाँको २-४ थप्पड खाको थिएँ, झ्याम कि झ्याम, दुवै गाला रननन हुने गरि!

हरि शरणम्! अब त बुढो भईयो के रे! स्याईईईईईईईईईईईईईईईईईई!

Talking about student politics at ASCOL, it was in right track upto the tenure of Hom Raj Dahal (NSU) and Keshab Pande (ANNFSU). They seemed to be some how politically matured. After them, it went in the hand of people like Tendi, Kumar, etc. I have no idea how they infiltrated into ASCOL.

wow! Remember every bit of that. Tendi, suyesh baje, Prafula, so on.We used to tease shive all the time he was after Sanju Amatya too.We used to call him bahula back then.Hey, Punte dai! we used to ride on same bikram tempo from chakrapath!!!

There used to be a FOSLA (Frustred One Sided Lover's Association) in every election. It was the pain in butt for NSU people. I wonder if FOSLA is still in ASCOL.

Let's talk about those who managed to go all India tour. We slaved our ass to raise fund and did function at Royal Nepal Academy. It was lot of work to carry out that program. But it was grand success. Everywhere we went asking people to buy tickets, we were reminded of the previous year's incident where the organizers ran away with money after selling tickets. It was such a humiliation for us. However, we turned things in our favor and did organize event successfully. Finally, we went for India tour which was lot of fun, excitement, agony and one good experience.

I heard that one former batch of student misbehaved with the girls in the tour. We had no girls in our tour, so we're safe.

May be you wanna share ur experience on this.

Do anybody know lale and Rajan of Ascol? I think they were gangasters at their time in Ascol around 89-90.

Lale and we played basketball together. I was closer to his brother Ramesh Lalchan then him. He (Lale) was in Tendi's team and I was with Prasanta Maharjan from St Xaviers and we won the championship...hehehehehehe
"We were the Champions"

Rajan used to live in hostel and Lalchan used live somewhere outside and show up at hostel and college occasionally. They used show some type of 'DadaDiri' there. I guess both of them were graduates of Laboratory school.

And i remember once there was basketball competetion. There was a guy playing well from opponent side. Lalchan began to beat that guy at the end of the game.
