Biswa ji, Very good question. (is that for me ???) Well, some people do have too much free time so they do not have anything to do so they might feel bored and spend free time here in shaja .. or some people's works based on computer so they just are on line 24/7 so they just cann't stay without clicking the mouse .. and they click on Shaja .... I hope people like you make them realize and use their time fruitfully or with good creative ideas on shaja ... ! Cheers AN

You can get aids in two conditions. 1. if you have anal sex with a partner and then have vaginal sex. Kinda self evident. 2. If you have a partner with AIDS (say a girl and a guy and the guy has AIDS). Since the rectum isnt as "flexible" as the vagina the penetration can very easily break the lining inside of the rectum and the semen from the guy can flow into the blood stream for the lady carrying AIDs viruses. or similar case,is the GIRL IS HIV positive, and the guy gets tiny miniature ruptures on the inside of his penis because of the unlubricated rectum, and the ruptured rectum causes minute amounts of blood to seep into even the tiniest of ruptures on the man's penis, the blood carrying the HIV can cause AIDs on the man. THERE YOU GO.

Ladyinred ji, Does time really exist ? Is there any evidence that it is really there... or is it much like the ether that was once thought to fill the universe? We certainly feel ourselves being pushed and dragged along by the river of time... Therefore, time must exist… right? Perhaps. But consider that time is something that we perceive through our senses, which are not perfect. Is it possible that how we think about time is related to how our brain processes information? One can divide any period of time into a past and future, from millennia to micro-seconds. The present is nothing more than a fleeting moment through which the future passes to become the past. If this is true... we are left with quite a perplexing problem... the past and future do not exist and the present has no duration... so how can time be measured? St. Augustine suggested that maybe time is measured in the mind. It is not an event itself that is measured, but instead, the impression that it leaves on the mind. The mind expects the future... which becomes the present... which the mind attends... and then becomes the past... which the mind remembers. The future and past do not exist, but in the mind there is an expectation of the future and a remembrance of the past. The present then would have no duration and still the mind's attention is always there. So it is not the future that is long. but a long expectation of the future. Likewise, it is not the past that was long... but a long remembrance of the past. So, is time an illusion of the human mind?... If it is... then maybe... it just might be possible to jump out of the river of time.... Run up or down along the river's banks.... And then re-enter into past or the future. ...Perhaps... just as easily as we move through the 3 dimensions of space. We will see later that this type of time travel may be very difficult... but it is certainly possible within the laws of our mathematics and physics. However, many people in this period of history viewed time as that real, ever-flowing river that was constant and unchangeable. This view, which we know today is inaccurate, was still the key to the birth of the great industrial age of machines all around the world... and at the heart of this view was Sir Isaac Newton.

Let me answer easy question frist: Is time real? Time is a gap between two events as a distance is a gap between two points. Since everything in this universe is in motion, you need to have two quantities to locate the object; one space and another time. X, Y, Z three space co-ordinates and "t" time co-ordinates can exactly define any classical object in the universe. This is reason why the universe is called space-time. If nothing were changing and everything were stationary, you wouldn't need time coordinate. Since things are changing you need both, space as well as time. If you consider space is real, you must consider time is also real. Both are real measurable quantities. However, space and time both are relative quantities. You have to take a refrence point or event to measure them. There must be two points to measure space and two events to measure the time. Those refrence points could be anything of your choice and convinience. For example I am 1.5 miles North-West from my resistance (refrence point) at nearly 2001+2/12+2/360 years since the Christ Era (refrence event) started. When body changes space with time it has velocity and when velocity change with time it has acceleration. The measurement of space and time depends on the motion of the object. When object moves pretty fast (close to the velocity of light), space contraction and time diluation take place. In other words if you were measuring 1m while moing slow, you will find the same space is less than 1m while moving faster. Similarly, time will pass very slowly at higher velocity. This is special called relativity theory. All I mean is time and space are not absolute quantities but they are real quantities. If they were not real they wouldn't be considered physical quantities :). As physical the space is that physical the time is. Anything that you can measure is physical and real.
