Hey guys and girls living abroad in all over the world to achieve your goals..DO you all really love you Nepal ama? And for sure you all do…Then what’s the problem with you all? Why don’t you all come back to you janma bhumi and try to heal all the wounds caused by some of the kaputs (politicians, Maoist, and also the king) Instead of just sitting in front of the computer reading all different kinds of threads regarding how to improve Nepal.
There will be very few of you who would love to go back to Nepal and serve your country. And the rest of us will be the same still living abroad reading the thread replying it back TA RAJA KO GULAM HOS PANCHE….TA MOIST KO DHALA…..POLITICIANS OF NEPAL ARE GOOD FOR BRIVIARY AND SHOULD BE PUSINSHED ALL OTHER STUFF…..Now we have a new system which is NEPAL SARKAR and you all are most well come to server your nation with no fears…I know you all also have aims and goals in your life but that is for what if you don’t get the opportunity or total satisfaction of serving your own country. This is just the beginning of new Nepal Sarkar. Lets see what response I will get from you all

yes i do nepal sakar. in fact i love my motherland, nepal the most.
having been grown up and educated in foreign country throughout my life of course
i have the desire to serve my country, help my fellow nepalese.
Like you said, i don't feel any satisfaction and honor until i serve my own country.
therefore i am looking for an opportunity to work in Nepal, and help in its development.
But first i need opportunity for that upon my completion of my studies very soon.

here's to my dedication, devotion and my love for NEPAL.
enjoi

Sorry I cannot return back.

I was not interested. I did not have money. But now I am in USA unwillingly. I cannot go back. Why????

I was a good student during my entire school and university life in Nepal. I had passed my SLC in 2050 and my score in SLC was 84.6%. Science was my favourite subject. I had always aspired to specialize in Aeronautical engineering. But % was nothing without money. My percentage was also same and my SLC marksheet was just a piece of paper with some typewritten words. Only money would give life and sense to those scores. I could not study science. Rs. 1000 to me and my parents was a lot. How could they spend per month fee for me that much amount? My father was professionally an engineer. A patriotic engineer, he never learnt to make money. Because of his over patriotism, he missed a chance to undergo PhD. Still he does not have any complains to anyone. But I am unlike my father has a lot of complaints.

I did my graduation in Nepal in Commerce. During my entire education life, I never scored less than 66%. I was board third in PCL level and board 2nd in BBS. And my masters score was 74.6%. I was also working by the time I was studying. School teacher, an assistant in an organisation, late night work, study .... still money problem in engineer's home ... ufff... god...I was experiencing the curse of my previous life. But dad I always love you. I know what hardships you have faced for me to stand on my own feet.

After masters I was not ready to remain working as an assistant. I had spirit to do and to show. In the morning I was teaching in tuition centres. I had a separate recognition. But my students never knew that their teacher who is teaching them about the management stuffs and giving them inspiration to lead an organisation as a manager wears mask of an assistant in a day time and Haaa... ridiculous...what a bloody liar I am.

My masters result was out. During those days I do not know why most of banks had had lots of vacancies. May be one post was waiting for me. I was happy to work in a bank again as an assistant. I was confident, sooner or later I would be promoted. I had never knew TU masters were never good. My first day, I knew I was working under a veteran banker. A brother of powerful personality in Nepal, leo club member, Kudalini member, American degree holder this that.... he was associated to everywhere.

First few month the experience was just great. KU masters including Phillipines masters, Pune (Symbiosis masters) were also their. Some joined with me, some joined later but most of them joined without taking exams and interviews. I did not have any interest on that kind of thing, banking job to me was just great. One day next symbiosis girl was seen in the bank. Everyone was saying new staff... new staff... very talented...CEO's computer was brought to her as if she was going to change the entire organisational culture. I still know CEO had come to see her 15 times just to make sure if she was comfortable. Then I knew my status and my future. Still I had faint hope that somebody will recognise me and my TU grades.

One year passed, two year passed.... I was the same. All of a sudden, a vacancy was announced. I thought it was for me. I did well in examination, and I was not so bad in interview also. My bosses had always seen my performance, I was thus confident. The position were 5. Results were announced, I was not in the list, I was said I was in 6th. I could do nothing because that morning I had already knew that my name was removed. One of the candidates, a relative of BOD, did not join. Later heard that she did not like to work. But the vacant position was not for me.

New guys came. I started training one of them. Later led my department he was my boss. I had to report him. First I had to teach him, and do the work and again report him. I do not know what kind of management thing is that. I was aware that my colleagues would laugh at me seeing me teaching my own competitor. Some month later, it was a year end. My appraisal was in his hand and he appreciated my job as knowledge of job satisfactory... I will always remember you my bro.

Some said it was not fair. My spirits had already died. Tried to switch it was not so easy. My name, degree all were nothing in Nepal. I had always tried for scholarships. Only thing where I had faith was on it. Luckily a professor of University of Chincinatti sponsored me for MBA, I was in contact with him from one of my teachers of masters degree. I am always grateful to you sirs....

I have now done my MBA. I do not where my so called boss is. I am missing him these days. I am thinking should I go to Nepal now. From which level should I start my career. Officer....???? what is the use of my study in scholarship if I go to Nepal. Who will recognise me? Again banks... bullshit those are the family business. Grandfather opens banks just to engage their grandchildren for time pass. Those who work as staff never get promotion. I do not have enough money to start my own business. Here I am atleast working and I can multiply the earning by 63 while I send that to Nepal. But in Nepal will I be able to earn that much. never...

Sorry guys I do not like to live life of my father. I do not like to continue my highly qualified kangal generation by returning back to Nepal. People might call by anything I do not care. Lots of comments on my writing is sure. But this reality is reality. I request before writing comment, would you like to go back and get frustrated with you life... my dear bro and sis u certainly will not...........................................................

Till the last moment I breathe, I will remember my childhood days, my teachers, my mother(specially the moment she would go to bank to pledge her ornaments just to pay my school fee), my highly qualified father, the poverty, my banking job, my satisfactory boss, my TU grades, the medals and appreciation letter.... Sorry mom sorry dad... I am sorry my country Nepal.... Sorry I cannot help.

I cannot return back.

just because you had a bad experience while working cause you to hate your birthplace.
shame on you...........
at least you should go and give it a try.
so much has change and more changes will come soon.

our generations should be one to take the stand and lead the nation onwards.
i know they are thousands of Nepalese students in USA and if our generations
who are highly educated does not have guts and pride to lead our nation, then
who will.?
At least we should all try. One day before last the breath,we can said that i tried my best
and have no regrets leaving the world happily.

Mr. sajhakhoher0.......here is a quote from your comments you made in recent past, I guess this should be enough to explain your thinking about Nepal, and fellow Nepalese and to make you quite for some time. Please, look at your self before commenting on others.

to bro chamkebaaj, it's sure coming:

1. You forgot that you are the assest not top SLC marks, %, Masters blah blah.
2. Degree actually means nothing whether that is nepal or it is in america. It means you completed the minimum requirement not the maximum.
3. If not 1 * 64 case , you would be in nepal, no matter how many other reasons you have in mind. So stop bullshiting.
4. You are willing to work less status job in america with degree but would not do that same in nepal no matter what because it's a social issue not "who is who" issue. I can guarantee that you will not raise even eyebrows if you would not get proper promotion
while working because "Kreepabaad" also exist in america. ooh forgot! they have "Naatabad" too but called "Networking" since it is a individualistic country. But you can quit for another job, that's the advantage, not in nepal. Average american changes job quite often within 3/4 years that's the fact.
5. Most of the nepali have gone thru similar hardship as yours so it is not a big surprised.
Believe me.
6. In america jobs are creating degrees not vice-versa. They need people to work. You could have just finished with word "opportunity", everybody will understand it. Why give long good excuse but lame reasoning..Degree doesn't create job period. Stop that mentality.Or Just say due to Maoist.
7. I know you want to tell all the greviences and people will listen to you but not at the expense of "Nepal Aama" because she has done nothing wrong to you. Your problem is the people not the motherland.
8. A German Nazi was living in america for 50 years with citizenship, somehow government found out and expelled. His destination - "motherland". She will give you refuge no matter who you are - chor, daka, hatyara or good citizen. You probably know about Japanese camp during WWII. So leave that " I will not return" mentality but enjoy what you have at the moment. Hatteri !! yasto pani sikaunu parne-- after those all rastriya geet.
9. I may sound corny but so be it. Desh heepe po laaj, chheke k ko laaj.

Chamkebaaj .. i feel for you ...
guys he is right .. not that he is saying he hates nepal ... but we all know what it is being neglected or disrespected for all the good work you do ... thats disappointing and a disgrace to the nepali F%**** "so called connection" culture .... and thats true we all know it ...
not that i have a same experience like him.. instead i am in the other side of his story ...
guys we all can help develop Nepal from here .. we just gotta be sincere .. we still have good education .. making money .. sending tons of money to Nepal ... just imagine.. with the current situation in nepal ... most of the money is coming from remittance...from us ... but if u have a very good reason to lure people to come to Nepal .. then ohh! yeah ... people would come to nepal .. and so called love to stay in Martibhumi or whatsoever for eternity...just hope good time will come for our Nepal ...lastly i would love to go to Nepal ... just not right now...

For sure I would like to say one line for you all guys
"One who forgets his root will never get respect in any place"
"Nepal is the place where we born, play and grew. So it is the place where our root is, let's develop it so that our next generation will not face the problems which we used to face".Our beloved mother nepal expects of good talents who will come back to nepal for serving when they leave Nepal to abroad. But everytime she founds only going but not returning. She is waiting for you all guys/gals.Let's make Nepal , our motherland a developed country. I don't say you guys to back nepal and serve but I really want to say try whatever possible think u can do from the place where you are.

It’s story of a gardener, a passionate gardener. From dawn till dusk he would work in his self owned garden. His motto was not to sell plants and flowers but to sell honey from the bees which were coming to his garden because of flowers. There were lots of flowers and lots of bees, honey, and butterflies. The garden environment would lure everyone. Neighbors would envy on the gardener. One day suddenly he died.

His heirs took the responsibility to run the garden and did the honey business. But they did not have any passion towards maintaining it. They were always searching some shortcut ways to make money. Though income from honey was sufficient, they needed extra to fulfill their extras…They started selling flowers especially to their neighbors. One day a neighbor came with a proposal to purchase the whole plant at a higher price. It was the thing the heirs had always wanted. They never knew what conspiracy the neighbors were weaving behind that proposal. The plants were also sold. The heirs became rich. But the bees were facing problem, they were not finding flowers to make honey. The heirs never bothered to look for the bees and honey; moreover, they were interested to sell the whole land if any good proposal would come. The bees did not see future in the garden and started leaving, moved to the place where there were flowers and started making honey there.

As the days went by, the garden turned into barren land with no plants, no flowers, no honey, and no bees. A signboard saying LAND ON SALE was standing which was continuously mocking the soul of the gardener.

Some months later it was heard that the heirs had a fight for selling the land. It was even heard that one of them was killed during the fight.
