guys i need a little information about renewing an expired nepalese passport...do they renew an expired nepalese passort..if so what are the criteria...plez help me out....

Esniper, you should have goggled before going to this thread. Nepalese Embassy in US will give you details.

i did try doing that...i checked their site but it doesnt have any information for expired passport..i'm trying to check if anybody has faced the same problem and might be able to help me out..

Call  to Nepalese emabassy, you will definitely get  all of informations about how to renew your passport.

 You can renew before or after expiration. Think logically. Otherwise you have to read this.

I think u meant Nepalese embassy. Of course they do that and that is their job. yesto sano sano kura ta jaslai pani thaha hunu parne ho ni yar. Sometimes its too much. So u were not even sure if its embassy's job to renew your passport? Common......2 minute net ma khojda thaha hune kuro lai sajha ma rakhera kina aafno beijjat garya?

If u have asked ''How to renew Nepali Passport'' it would have been at least OK, tara prashna sodheko pani DO THEY RENEW EXIRED PASSPORT re....ani tyo DO THEY bhanya ko ho ni? k ho k ho yar....!!!!

Im not saying that I know everything but these things r common, I think...its like a Nepali asking in Nepal ''Malai US janu chha visa chahinchha ki chahidaina...''

Ok if u have not yet got info,
-Fill up the passport renewal form (its v simple, one page)
-Send your Old Passport and fee by post. (may be it differs from embassy to embassy, like in Nepalese embasy in UK accpets cash)
-After a wee or so your new passport will be in your mailbox, that wil be valid for 10 years. Your old passport will be also returned and stamped CANCELLED.

-------If in case u have visa in old passport that still valids, u have to carry both the passports while travelling or maybe u can transfer visa to new passport. (please consult the right place)
