Hi all, I need your precious suggesttion :
I have been working as an faculty in one of the college in virginia, US since Sept 2007. I have H1-B visa for 3 years. I have been working with this college for almost 6 months, so my question is that, is this the right time to file for green card ? Or it is too early ? I appreciate your suggestion.
Thanks

Well, there can never be a bad time to file for the green card. If you qualify for EB2 or even a higher category, earlier you file, sooner you will have the green card.
Good Luck!!

If you qualify for EB-1,NIW or (EB2 NIW, I guess) you can apply on yourown right away. If it is EB-2, your employer should be ready to sponsor you or at least ready to provide you paper works.

Hey Nepal ko Lato,
Can you suggest me how do we file application for Green Card as NIW? Do we have to file I 140 for NIW as well? Can you elaborate your knowledge the full procedure for applying green card under NIW?
I would appreciate anyone's input on it.
Thanks,
