पूर्व राजा ज्ञानेन्द्रको बहिर्गमन शान्तिपूर्ण र मर्यादित भएपनी पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा देखिएको पत्रकारहरुको अमर्यादित र अनुशासनहिन होहल्लाले म जस्ता धेरै नेपालीहरुलाई टिठ लागेको हुनुपर्छ। सैदान्तिकरुपमा गणतन्त्र को समर्थक भएपनी सम्पूर्ण राजसत्तानै छोडेर जान लाग्दा पनि पूर्व राजा ज्ञानेन्द्र ले देखाएको सालीन्ता आँफैमा प्रसम्सा योग्य छ। तर सबैलाई बाटो देखाउने पत्रकारहरुलेनै सम्बोधन को गाम्भिर्यता लाई नबुझी खसी बजारमाझै होहल्ला गर्नु उनिहरुको पेसा सुहाउदो भएन कि झै लाग्यो। अब पत्रकार मित्रहरुले यता पनि ध्यान दिने कि?

I agree. WTF the &%$# was that all about? There was absolutely no professionalism at all.  They didn't have to be there if they didn't want to. I am starting to feel that there's no hope for Nepal unless you force those goons to abide by the rules and instill some sense of professionalism and accountability in them.

Without those, we will keep on getting back to square 1.

 

 Utter Disgrace...and international embrassment.

I was embarassed myself and hope my work colleague wont see that video where mobiles were ringing in press conference and that also one of the very important one in national and international politics. Gyanendra Shah must have felt really bad by thedisgraceful public who use to vow with utmost respect infront of him till recent time.
Nepali as a whole and specially those journalist must learn some discipline.

यि पत्रकार भनौदा हरु लाई पत्रकार सम्मेलन भनेको के हो भनेर पनि थाहा छैन जस्तो छ। यिनीहरु कसरी र कुन योग्यता ले पत्रकार भएका हुन सोध्नु पर्ने भएको छ। हाथमा एउटा mic भिर्दै मा पत्रकार हुने हो र ? यिनिहरु ले आफ्नो निर्लज्ज व्यबहार को लागि सम्पूर्ण नेपाली जनता सँग माफि माग्नु पर्छ।

SLC मा third divison मा पास भएपछी कुनैपनी कलेज मा admission नमिलेर RR campus मा पत्रकारिता पढेका पत्रकार हरुबाट यो भन्दा राम्रो सभ्यता के खोज्नु हुन्छ। के उनिहरुले पत्रकार मा कस्तो अनुशासन हुन्पर्छ भनेर कत्तिको बुझे होलन त? काठमाडौं का गल्ली गल्लिमा MoMo पसल जस्तै खोलेक पत्रीका पत्रकारहरु बाट के professionalism पाउन सकिन्छ र।

 

As soon as I watched the video, I felt the same shame. "Those who want their rights should not forget their responsibilities."  There should be a pindrop silence during press conference. Once again, watch the video and look at King's facial expression while delivering the speech. We could see some kinda bitter facial expression, especially his mouth. And these mofos journalist demand their rights???????????????????????  uncivilized.

Really speaking, these mofos don't know the "Ethics" of journalism. They just got 4-5 months training, that's it. So,  we have to improve a lot below from the zero level.

Just like Nepali Janta, these cheap patrakars have shown they are no less then BHEDA mentality....

Uncivilized journalists. They probably smell too. They should go back to previous jobs (tempo driver, bus conductor, cinema ticket black).

This represents the attitude of whole Nepalese people. When we gonna learn?  I heard that there has been protest going on for recent hike on petroleum products. God, it’s going up everywhere in the world. We Nepalese are just dumb. That’s why we gonna be India’s puppet forever. Indians must enjoy playing games in Nepal all the time.

It does seem like only the journalists from certain group made such gestures.

One should not generalize that all the journalists as "cultureless".

Nahhhh...Not all Journalists.....but around 5 in every 6 journalists looked cultureless....

i agree with you guys,  good observation.  i tried to listen to the king, but kept hearing the background noise of the reporters?  absolutely no discipline.  can you imagine that happening here in the states during the press conference?  i think most of these are not journalist, just fellows with digital cameras.  maybe palace did not think about that what is coming?  maybe they should have limit the number?  maybe have enough chairs to go around.  it is just sooo sad.  at least they should have some respect to the speaker.  i wonder if everyone who was listening noticed it or just those of us who live in US and European countries.  i wonder what viewers in nepal thought or observed.  all i know is no matter who rules the country mentality will always be there.  absolutely chaos.  just so sad.  almost shamed to identify myself as nepali. just sad.

जुन रुपमा नेपाली पत्रकारहरु त्यस पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा प्रस्तुत भय त्यो वास्तवमा नै लजमर्दो छ। हरेक पेसाको आफ्नो मुल्य र मन्यता हुन्छ। हरेक पदको पदिय दायित्व हुन्छ। तर त्यस सम्मेलनमा जसरी पत्रकारहरु प्रस्तुत भय तेसबाट निस्चय पनि उनिहरु ब्यबसायिक पत्रकारिता भन्दा पर र प्रचलित मान्यताबाट बिचलित भएको प्रस्ट हुन्छ। वास्तवमै भन्नेहो भने एउटा रिपोर्टरलाई आफ्नो ब्यक्तिगत बिचार  दिने अधिकारनै हुँदैन। सारा समुदाएले हेरिरहेको प्रसारनमा जथाभाबी सन्देस जादा कस्तो असार पर्न सक्छ भनेर आकलन गर्न नसक्ने पत्रकारहरु र तिनै पत्रकारहरुको भरमा चलेका संचारमाध्यम बाट जनता र राष्ट्रले निस्चयपनि सही योग्दानको आसा गर्न सक्दैन।

Its same every where they go. You should see Reporters club ( Yes the club of these journalist and run by so called SLC pass top Journalist), they bloody spit on the walls and you cant even walk on stairs because of smells like shi.t .

I wonder what they were doing , they must be thinking Narayanhiti palace as a bishwojyoti hall lining up for cinema ticket.

When I watched that vedio, I felt so pity for Ganendra shah having such a insult moment at the last moment. That means I am not site of king but nepali people. I felt so sorry for myself how will go our country in a development mood in such a way.
