You can download a song for only a dollar from iTunes that I am sure you are already aware of. If you are looking for free mp3 download, think again. Just remember that not only the recording company but the artists put a lot of money and effort while creating a song. The songs, no matter if they are mp3, on cd, on cassette are products. Just like an ipod, laptop or a brand new car, music is worth something too as a lot of money and effort is spent to create it. Just because it is floating around on the internet and the artist and recording company havee too much money already doesn't mean it is okay to use it without paying for it.
You said you bought a brand new iPod, Why did you pay for it, you know how much Apple makes a year, one iPod wouldn't matter much to them, right? Why didn't you steal it from the store. You need a computer to use iPod. Why pay money for laptop? Sony makes a lot too, they don't give a crap for one laptop. Just go to a BestBuy and run away with it. Go to a car lot ask for a key for test-ride and drive it away. Stop at a gas station, ask the attendant to turn the pump up, fill it up and drive off. Why just limit yourself to stealing songs from the internet? Go all the way. Steal whatever you need in life.
I hope you understand pal, just use iTunes, and I personally think their sound quality is much better than any mp3 or cds I have heard. Don't become a thief. :-)

alrite, here is the deal if you 'r looking for a easy and cheap way to download songs.
www.legalsounds.com
you can purchase any songs u want ,just for 9 cents/song
but remember its a russian website,so just be lil careful. Avoid using your bank cards or credit cards. Just buy a $25 gift card from safeway or kingsoppers or wherever, and use it. Safe and simple.
Its perfectly legal and I have been using this website for quite a long time, $0.09 a song, not bad!!!!
Avoid downloading free songs, its illegal...
if you dont care go to Limewire.com
download their free software, and download tons of songs for fee....no cost on you!!
But risk on you!
