use winrar to extract them onto a folder, use merge if this doesn't work, and then burn it into a cd just like u would burn any data cd, should work !

No. u have to extract all the files in same folder(directory) and then try to merge it.

Windows XP in 6 rar files smells like a pirated one.

FYI: Don't use the installation serial number that came with the rar files. Use the one from the sticker which can be found beneath your laptop.

Mr. ODC ,

Those rar files are definitely not from Microsoft, but during the installation if you use the serial number from the proof of purchase sticker beneath your laptop then your copy of Windows XP is going to be 100% genuine. It's the serial number/license that identifies the software is pirated or not.

Icoffee,
I'm not a tech_geek and neither do you. If you were, you didn't have to ask in Sajha about how to make a bootable cd from 6 different rar files. I don't say that I was right about the proof of purchase, yes it is provided to a computer and as long as you use it on the same machine its genuine, I mistakenly overlooked that factor, but, some software work 100% perfectly doesn't mean that if is not pirated. (I'm not talking about your XP right now). I have downloaded "Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise Blue Edition" from the internet and you know one thing about it, it doesn't require and serial no and more than that, if you need to download any templates from Microsoft, it will pass the validity test. This is pirated software, but perfectly work, as genuine, not only for me, if you can download it, for you too. Why this works is, not really sure, but Some says, this MS Office 2007 Blue is originally distributed to the equipment manufacturers who will then sell the serial no. making copy of that, but was leaked by some employees.
