I am in H1-B visa (2nd year) and want to apply for a GC through EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) category. I would like to make a decision whether I should apply both I-140 and 485 concurrently or apply separately. Does anyone has an experience of applying such way and what are the advantages and disadvantage of filing concurrently or separately? How long does it take for an action? When I ask my Lawyer, he wants me to apply concurrently. What should I do? Also my job is in academic field and is not stable due to this scary economic recession. Thanks for your suggestion/advice
