Hinduism is a code of life
— a collection of attitudes, personal experiences, and spiritual practices. It
is, in essence, defined by behaviors rather than beliefs.
According to Hindu
philosophy, there is one divine reality, and all religions are simply various
interpretations of it. Because of this, Hinduism allows and even encourages
individuals to choose a religious path that best suits their social,
intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs. Your views on religion is limited : not eating beef does not make you a good Hindu, it was just a good practice at that time: they knew the good part of cows for milking and ox for farming. As Jews knew that Pig carries tapeworm and practiced not to eat pork so did the Muslims but they embedded in Koran . Later that practices were taken as religion.
