Argentina should beat Netherlands, no matter what. I still have that game in my memories. 1998 Quarter final game Netherlands vs Argentina. That was really shocking game. My prediction will be 3-1. It's fair. I am not trying to be too much optimistic about the result. Thanks

Game between HOLLAND & ARGENTINA If you are supporting any of these two teams through out this game, you have to pray for their loss tomorrow because tomorrow's loss will help them avoid fighting with GERMANY in the quarter final. As you know, Germany has already shown some potential and it will be too risky to play with Germany early in the quarter final even though both Holland and Argentina are good teams. Since Germany has home ground advantage, it is better to stay way from them in the early phase of the tournament. Only thing i can say is it will be much easier to play with Portugal in pre-quarter rather than playing with Germany in the quarter.

As much as i would love to see The Albicelestes win, I wouldn't mind predicting tomorrow's game ending in a draw. Argentina will be resting their key players inorder to avoid suspensions. Heinze, Riquelme, Crespo and Saviola are all likely to be sitting out. Aimar will probably start. The Inter Hitman Julio Cruz might get his first Wcup appearance being paired up with Tevez up front. Aimar, Cruz and Tevez wow. Last match Riquelme+Lucho+Mascherano+Maxi+Saviola+Crespo (started 1st Half) Riquelme+Cambiassoi+Mascherano+Maxi+Saviola+Crespo(1st Half) Riquelme+Cambiasso+Mascherano+Tevez+Messi+Crespo(finished the game) Tomorrow, Hopefully Aimar+Cambiasso+Mascherano+Maxi+Tevez+Cruz (Messi in place of Maxi towards the end of match) My prediction 1-1 which means Argentina is going to take the first place and face the runners up of Group D in the round of 16. Vamos Argentina.

Yes Amazing, Argentina will win. As an old fan of Argentina, all other big names like Brazil, Germany, England, Italy, Holland etc. are my rivals. :P I was hoping England would lose yesterday and meet Germany in the round of sixteen, but they were lucky to draw with Sweden.

The game will not be as heated as it was in the 98 , but looking at the history, Argentina and Holland have faced each other 8 times. Holland has won 4 times, Argentina once and two were draws. They have faced 3 times in the World Cup with Holland winning twice and Argentina once in extra time in the 1978 final. They have never beated Holland in the full 90 minutes. Therefore Argetinian supporters might as well keep quiet now as history does not seem to support your exertions here. :)

Oranje Boy, as your name suggests, you seem to be a die-hard fan of Holland. Good luck for tonights game! On the contrary, I am a big supporter of Argentina, lets see what happens. Tonight, Arjen Robben is not playing, he is being replaced by Dirk Kuyt. Messi and Tevez will play for Argentina, as a result Crespo and Saviola will be left out. This is an opportunity for Argentina to take revenge against France '98 quarter final though both have progressed to the second round.
