I worked for this dhoti company for 2 years. After one project, I got another company to take over my H1b. In transit, dhoti did not pay for 1 month salary, so I resigned asking my money. All total about $15000.00 include salary and accumulated vacation pay. Dhoti wrote me letter back asking about $5000.00 wage back because I break the contract. Contract was 1 year and I worked already. Sallaha chhahiyo. I do not want to leave any thing which I have worked.

well... If your status is fine, specify him that you have completed a contract period and if his dhoti ass still tries to scare you out, just tell him that you are going to file a complain with better business beuro.

Nesh bro... one of my friend had a same issue a year ago...as per H1 visa status and state and fedral labor laws you are not binded to any company at any times... you have the right to go choose any company you want at your will.... it is against US labor laws binding an employee to a company by making you sign documents to be with the company... most of these companies take advantage of it.... My suggestion to you is contact the state labor department and fedral as well.... if you have a strong proof of your wages your time sheet of when and were u worked you are eligible for your wage....and no one can stop you from getting it.... ahead the company will not be allowed to apply any H1 to any of his employees.... he is still fighting with the company but even if he looses he will screw the consultancy .....so good luck! just remember labor contracts is illigal in US. its a modern day slavery which america abolished long time ago...
Start with calling the state labor department and then the fedral. The state should provide you with a lawyer or a investigator...and also claim that they did not provide you with your W2 with correct wages and then the state and fedral tax agencies will be after that company....remember its a fedral crime to avoide tax in US...and not claiming the right amount of wages is even a bigger one.

If you have the timesheets approved, then call them up and tell them that you will file a complaint to the US Department of Labor to submit the amount in your account in 24 hrs, and cut off all the communications link with them, if they call do not answer them. Dhotis will start pissing on their pants, I have got my money the same way that I have mentioned...
Good luck...
