I am looking for a camera for family use. My budget is USD100 to 130. Having hard time pick the brand and model. Please offer some suggestions which one should I go for.

for camera within that range upto 200 I would certainly go for Canon. (Model ko barey ma sure chuina,but they are decent cameras)

For that budget, check out Canon A590.  It takes good pictures and videos.

Check out Sony DSC-H20 if you can stretch your budget a  little more.

USD 100 to 130 is very narrow bracket. Like other friend said, expand little more if you can. If you are really in tight budget, you may want to try Refurbished ( it's kind of new but didn't match factory standard by any means, may be scratch little bit or something like that).
